This week:​​​​​

We are happy to report a big turnaround in growing conditions this week, in our favor! Mid-summer rains have set us up for late summer plantings and are encouraging as we to look ahead to fall.

​

Regarding food safety: you can assure your customers that all our greens and mixes are single source, from our farm only. We continue to follow food safety protocols in place which have served us well for over 25 years. There is no livestock on the farm, and we use compost and no animal manures for fertilizer. Irrigation is from our deep well. We triple rinse our salad greens, also using well water, and use no chemical additives. Please ask if you have questions about our processes or anything else in these uncertain times.

This is the best time to take advantage of heat loving herbs and flowers, and that micro you have had your eye on! Shishitos and beans are beginning to come in now, and tomatoes are on the cusp. And arugula is back!

~Best picks this week: chives, all the mints, hoja santa, sweet basil, African Blue basil, Tulsi basil, micro basil, shiso, Italian parsley, zinnias for your table flowers, citrus lace...more!
