This week:
Frost looks likely next week so take advantage of fall bounty while you can.
~High tunnel tomatoes, cherry mix and heirlooms, are still looking great, though supply is limited.
~The braising greens are coming in gangbusters! Check out our fall bounty pricing this week, and hopefully, for the next several weeks.
~Fall squashes are coming out of the field and curing nicely in the barn. They sell out quickly so if you have space to store them now's the time.
~Check out all the peppers we have coming in, this is truly the year of the pepper at Manakintowne! We have a special on sweet banana peppers: they are large, beautiful and plentiful this year. The last to ripen this year, our Espelette peppers are coming in now! And the Aji Dulce spice peppers are a favorite, fruity with just a hint of heat, lovely to work with. Take time to put up your locally sourced pepper sauces, jams and pickles to get you through the winter months.
~Our Aji Dulce/Fresno pepper sauce is scheduled for production next week! We are taking pre-orders now.
